Get to know the course
Rescue Run is not your typical 'Mud Run' - it is so much more.
2018 is going to be 5 times as epic, with brand new challenges & obstacles to rival our first year.
On a scale never-before-seen in New Zealand (or the world!)... these obstacles are extreme. We're talking a 60-metre-long earthquake zone made out of concrete & lined with challenges... Mudslides that are bigger than you can imagine! This will be an experience to rival all other adventure races.
Competitors are timed across a 15km high intensity obstacle course with points awarded for a variety of team challenges. Obstacle disaster zones are insane; designed by disaster relief & emergency service professionals including Civil Defence, Land Search & Rescue Auckland, St John, Surf Life Saving Northern Region, CoastGuard Northern Region, Fire & Emergency (FENZ) Northwest Volunteer Brigades’, and more... they will each simulate real-world rescue scenarios.
