  1. On the day of the event, all participants must be aged 18 years or more. Participants aged under 18 years must have written parental consent, and be approved by event organisers.
  2. At the start of the event, each team must have 6 members.  Any exceptions must be cleared by event organisers.
  3. Teams must pledge to raise a minimum $5000 by 10 days prior to the event to be eligible to participate in the event. If you are unable to meet the $5,000 commitment, you must prove that you made a sufficient effort to raise such funds.  This must be approved by event organisers.
  4. All participants must be adequately equipped & suitably attired for variable conditions.
  5. Each team must carry the provided equipment on the course, to include but not limited to 1x gurney, 6x helmets, 6x bibs, and 1x first aid kit.

  7. The provided participant identification bib numbers must be worn at all times during the event.
  8. All team members must stay together between challenges and must check in and out at each challenge together. It is the team's responsibility to ensure that they have been properly checked in at each challenge. Staff at challenges will not check in incomplete teams with any members unaccounted for.
  9. Any team member who is injured or exhausted must be brought to the nearest challenge by teammates for assistance. If the injury prevents proceeding to the nearest challenge, follow the emergency procedures below.
  10. Under no circumstances are individuals to be left unaccompanied. If a team member becomes seriously injured and cannot be moved, one person must stay with them while the others seek help.

  15. Teams may not leave the trail or a challenge for any length of time at all.
  16. If your team has not departed a challenge by the published closure time, the team will be withdrawn from the event and the team will be advised not to proceed. The closing times are calculated on the basis that there would be insufficient time remaining to complete the event within the time limit.

  1. Reservation fees are strictly non-refundable or transferable.

If your team withdraws after your grace period, your entry fee is strictly non-refundable or transferable with the exception of written applications for refunds for withdrawal under exceptional circumstances, which will be considered for approval at Rescue Run’s discretion. Any refunded entry fees will be less $500 for administration and event costs incurred for your team to date.
  3. Should your team withdraw after your 4-week registration grace period, Rescue Run will cancel your team's fundraising commitment but will retain your sponsors' donations.
  4. In the unlikely event that Rescue Run is cancelled, you will be given the option to have your entry fee; a) donated to the charity’s life-saving work; or b) 50% refunded. Rescue Run will also cancel your team's fundraising commitment.  If you require refund of the funds provided prior to cancellation, you must request such a refund in writing no later than 4 weeks after date of cancellation.  Upon receipt of such request, the charity will return the funds, provided there is sufficient evidence that the charity received the donation.
